About Harper

With 9 years of enriching experience as a Singing tutor, I have guided 150–200 students across various levels, helping them strengthen their technique, refine their musicality, and discover confidence in their voice. Personalized learning is the foundation of my teaching approach. I believe every student has a unique vocal identity, and I design lessons that complement their goals, strengths, and artistic personality. Whether a student dreams of performing on stage or simply wants to improve their singing ability, I create a plan that supports steady, meaningful progress.

My lessons focus on developing essential vocal skills such as breath control, vocal warm-ups, intonation, diction, vibrato, and overall tone quality. I also train students in a variety of genres including classical, pop, Western contemporary, devotional, and semi-classical music. Beyond technique, I incorporate ear-training, rhythm exercises, and introductory music theory to build a strong foundation for long-term growth. One of my unique strengths is my ability to motivate students through a supportive, encouraging environment. I help them break down vocal barriers, overcome performance anxiety, and build self-expression through music.

I also focus on performance readiness—helping students polish their stage presence, audience connection, and delivery. Teaching has allowed me to witness incredible transformations, from shy beginners finding their voice to advanced learners refining their artistry. My commitment is to guide each student with patience, clarity, and enthusiasm, ensuring they feel confident and inspired throughout their musical journey.

About the lesson

Imagine recording a song or performing live, feeling completely in control of your voice, confident, expressive, and deeply connected to your audience. My teaching methodology, based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity (MCIC), helps students achieve both technical excellence and artistic expression. I focus on motivation, helping students set realistic goals, celebrate milestones, and develop the discipline for consistent practice.

Communication ensures an interactive environment where students can ask questions, share ideas, and receive personalized feedback on tone, pitch, phrasing, breath control, and expression. Integrity provides honest guidance, structured practice, and a professional, respectful learning space. Creativity allows students to explore styles, improvise, and develop a personal voice. I also include music theory, rhythm, ear training, and stage presence to provide a full musical foundation.

I encourage students to practice mindfulness and self-awareness while singing, helping them connect emotionally with the music and improve stage presence. Lessons are tailored to skill level, goals, and interests, blending exercises, guided practice, and performance activities. This approach strengthens technical mastery, expressive performance, confidence, and stage presence.
