About Telane
I am an experienced and dedicated teacher with several years of classroom experience working with learners from Foundation Phase through Grade 9. I particularly enjoy helping learners who may feel overwhelmed or lack confidence in a subject. I am patient, approachable and believe that learners learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I enjoy finding different ways to explain a concept until it makes sense to the individual learner. I am passionate about education and helping learners recognise their own abilities, while creating a supportive environment where they can work towards their academic goals.

My lessons are designed to help learners understand the work, build confidence and improve their results. I have classroom teaching experience with learners from Foundation Phase through Grade 9, with particular experience in Mathematics and EMS. I adapt my lessons to each learner’s needs, whether they need help catching up, understanding difficult concepts, preparing for tests and exams, or simply developing stronger study habits. I use a patient, practical approach and encourage learners to work through problems themselves while providing guidance and support when needed. Lessons can be tailored to the CAPS curriculum and can take place online or in person.
