About Starr
I have served as a Spanish Translator at various jobs such as food pantries and soup kitchens as well as in the E.R. at the local hospital in which I've worked for the past 12 yrs. I began studying Spanish in the 8th Grade and was awarded the Spanish award in the 9th Grade. In high school, I was accepted into the Pablo Neruda chapter of the Spanish National Honor Society. I plan on becoming a certified Medical Language Interpreter in 2017.

Hi! I am a 2nd language Spanish speaker and tutor Jr. High & High School students, Adults and others wishing to learn a foreign language. I will introduce you to the alphabet with emphasis on pronunciation, grammar constructions and other Beginner and Intermediate aspects of the language. I will offer homework assignments (one per week) and encourage basic speaking and help you to improve upon what skills you attain under my guidance. I understand the fear/anxiety of learning a foreign language, so DON'T panic! I willl lead you through it GENTLY! :-)
