I want to teach students what they want to know. In order to do that I like to get to know my students and their interest in Spanish, and what they know going into a lesson. I learned Spanish by being completely immersed in it so I will speak in as much Spanish as you can understand.
Ways I enjoy teaching Spanish lessons include:
- Conversation
- Task-based activities incorporating vocabulary and culture
- Practice, repetition and fully supporting and encouraging students
- Projects that help students to display what they have learned
- Information Recall
