About Ben

I am not a native Spanish speaker, but I know the path to fluency from an English-speaking background. I grew up in California where many of us are taught Spanish, but too few actually keep what they learned. If you want a tutor or teacher that knows how to acquire Spanish from English, and has teaching experience for all ages, then I am your guy.

About the lesson

The first lesson is free for one hour. It will be mostly diagnostic and introductory but can include a conversation or a short technical skill lesson. After our diagnostic session we will take off of exactly where you are in the language acquisition process, no backtracking only practicing. Although there are hard goals for language learning and skill development, the paths to those milestones are not set in stone and should not be taught as such. The saying that everyone has a different way of learning goes double for languages, so if you are better with auditory, verbal, kinesthetic, or any other kind of learning I will adapt the lessons to meet your needs. Learning the right kind of exposure and method of teaching technical lessons will get us all the more closer to your fluency.
