About Jason
I hold a Ph.D. in history and an MA in Latin American Studies (concentrations in Spanish and Anthropology) from the University of South Florida. I have traveled to (and/or lived in) nearly every Spanish speaking country in the world. I am familiar with the history, the language, and the culture and enjoy sharing over two decades of knowledge with my students. I am also an avid surfer whose Ph.D. research centers around surf tourism in Central America.

I hold a Ph.D. in history and a MA. in Latin American, Latino, and Caribbean Studies (concentrations in Spanish and anthropology) from the University of South Florida.
