About Bethia
I have 11 GSCE's, as well as an AS level in English Literature, and A levels in Spanish (A), Psychology (B) and Sociology (A). I therefore have an in depth knowledge of how the education system works, including exams and coursework, and how stressful they can be, but also how to overcome the stress and do well. I also have experience teaching - undertaking a weeklong mission trip to Lebanon with a Christian Organisation to teach Religious Studies at the Lebanese Evangelical School. Furthermore, as part of my University degree I plan to teach English in either Spain, or Latin America, and this would be a very useful experience for me too.

Hi! my name is Bethia, I am half English and half Ecuadorean, and I am currently studying Spanish and Psychology at Lancaster University. I would have much to offer teaching GCSE and A level students studying Spanish, helping them with any questions they might have. As a tutor, I will create a positive environment, and be continuously encouraging. At the same time, I will focus on meeting the individual's needs, explaining the things which they find most challenging. Further, I will find and create additional resources, such as worksheets, which we could work through together for practice, and speak in Spanish as much as possible to increase their confidence with oral skills.
