About Marta
My name is Marta Fernández and I am a Spanish-speaking student born in Spain.
From a very young age I began to learn different languages and over the years I have been realizing the importance of mastering and knowing languages, because there is nothing more than a language.
That is why giving Spanish classes my main objective is to make Spanish known. As well as giving importance to oral communication between interlocutors, which from my point of view is the center of language learning.

One of the mistakes that I most frequently see as a Spanish teacher is the compulsive obsession with students learning grammar.
Personally and from my experience I believe that this is not the way to teach a language. That is why in my classes we will focus mainly on the vehicle of communication, the speech of the language. We will have conversations in the language every class and we will use grammar and vocabulary as a tool to communicate, not as the basis of language teaching.
That is why, thanks to this method, my students will become fluent in the language as well as achieve a great command of it.
