About Antonela

Hola, I’m Antonela — a certified ELE (Español como Lengua Extranjera – Spanish as a Foreign Language) teacher and native speaker from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I’ve been teaching Spanish since 2005, both in schools and independently, and I absolutely love helping students discover the joy of learning a new language. For almost 10 years, I also worked as cabin crew — an incredible experience that allowed me to explore new cultures and connect with people from all over the world. In 2020, I founded Poncho Spanish to create a learning experience that feels relaxed, positive, and meaningful. With nearly 20 years of experience teaching children and teens, my main focus is helping young learners grow in confidence and curiosity — while also supporting adults who wish to enjoy the same stress-free approach. My mission is to empower anyone who wants to open up to a whole new world of opportunities by giving them the gift of a new language. I love welcoming students from all walks of life and helping them feel confident, inspired, and proud of their progress.

About the lesson

I specialise in teaching Spanish to kids, teens, and adults through fun, stress-free online lessons. I focus on creating a supportive and relaxed environment where students feel confident to speak and make progress at their own pace. Lessons are suitable for all levels — from complete beginners to advanced learners — and are held live on Zoom, so students can join comfortably from home. I offer the option to start your own small group classes (up to 4 learners) keeping sessions engaging and interactive as well as private tuition for those who prefer one-to-one learning. Each class is tailored to individual goals and learning styles, combining conversation, games, visuals, and real-life scenarios to make Spanish practical and enjoyable. For teenagers preparing for (I)GCSE exams, I provide personalised support to build confidence and exam skills while keeping learning positive and motivating.
