About Skye

I have 12 years of experience teaching Spanish and hold a PhD in Spanish Language Acquisition. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with learners seeking stronger communication skills, improved fluency, and greater cultural understanding. Helping students gain confidence with Spanish continues to be one of the most rewarding parts of my profession.

My teaching philosophy focuses on interaction, encouragement, and practical learning. I believe students learn best when they actively use the language and engage with meaningful communication. Every lesson is designed to support lasting improvement.

Outside teaching, I enjoy studying linguistic development, exploring Hispanic cultures, and reading Spanish-language literature. These interests help me bring authentic perspectives into lessons. I am dedicated to helping students reach their language goals successfully.

About the lesson

My Spanish lessons are designed to help students use the language comfortably in everyday conversations and meaningful real-life situations. We focus on sentence construction, verb patterns, pronunciation improvement, listening comprehension, vocabulary development, reading practice, and conversational fluency. Every lesson encourages active participation and practical language use.

Students engage in speaking exercises, guided dialogues, listening activities, vocabulary-building challenges, reading discussions, and cultural exploration tasks. I introduce concepts in a simple and organized way so learners can understand them clearly and apply them with confidence. Lessons are adjusted to fit individual goals and experience levels.

I enjoy helping students become confident Spanish speakers through consistent practice and positive support. Through structured learning and encouraging feedback, learners improve their communication skills while gaining greater comfort with the language. My goal is to make Spanish learning enjoyable, useful, and motivating.
