About Clara
My passion for Spanish developed through a lifelong interest in languages, communication, and cultural exchange. This interest led me to complete a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages, a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics, and a PhD in Spanish Language Education. Over the past 12 years, I have helped learners achieve meaningful progress through supportive and engaging instruction.
I believe language learning should be practical, enjoyable, and centered on communication. My teaching approach focuses on active participation, cultural understanding, and real-world application. Through conversations, guided activities, and individualized support, I help learners become confident users of Spanish.
Outside teaching, I enjoy studying language acquisition, exploring Hispanic cultures, and reading contemporary Spanish literature. These interests enrich my lessons and provide authentic learning experiences. Helping students communicate with confidence and cultural awareness remains one of the most fulfilling aspects of my career.

My Spanish lessons focus on helping students become comfortable and confident communicators through meaningful language practice. Learners improve speaking, listening, pronunciation, vocabulary development, grammar application, reading comprehension, writing skills, and conversational fluency through interactive activities and real-life scenarios. I encourage students to use Spanish actively from the start so they can build practical communication abilities. Every lesson balances structure with authentic language use.
Lessons are personalized to suit each learner's objectives and learning style. Beginners focus on everyday vocabulary, simple sentence construction, and basic conversations. Intermediate learners strengthen fluency, listening comprehension, and grammatical accuracy through engaging discussions. Advanced students refine sophisticated expression, cultural understanding, and advanced communication skills. Regular speaking opportunities and constructive feedback help students improve consistently.
Learning Spanish opens doors to new cultures, experiences, and opportunities. My goal is to help students use the language confidently in both personal and professional situations. Every lesson supports communication, growth, and cultural appreciation.
