About Carla
I'm an experienced English teacher with extensive knowledge of methodology for teaching. Aware of the student's cognitive processes and needs. As a native Spanish speaker, I recognize the diversity of Latin American culture. Moreover, as a translator, I manage different registers such as jargon, formal, and informal tenor. Working with children and young adults for more than 5 years, have given me the opportunity to exceed my own expectation about the ducation field. What's more, in this difficult time, teachers around the world have to redesign ways of teaching through digital platforms.

For me, one of the most important things in a class is the engaging part, the rapport with the students, and make a relatable class. Presenting interesting topics according to students' preferences and presenting grammar in a natural way. Sometimes I can begin with shorth activities to break the ice, then introduce the topic using the appropriate techniques so that the students can develop different skills.
