About Heidi
I was born in Guatemala City Guatemala and have lived in the US since I was 10. I learned English as a second language by attending school in English but always kept my Spanish up. I am an artist, journalist, and teacher.

I host each lesson at an interesting location where conversations can flow and questions asked freely. Depending on the goals of the students we will start each meeting with a written assignment and go over the details of the assignment together. Casual conversations with each other will help develop confidence and vocabulary. A readingand or writing assignment will be given to do before our next meeting. Each student will be asked what their goals are as in job opportunities in a certain industry, esl exam, citizenship exam, etc…
