About Jessica
I am in my last semester at West Texas A&M University and will graduate with a major in General Studies and a minor in Spanish. Before returning to school, I was a 6th grade ESL Instructional assistant for five and a half years and also worked in Mexico as a pre-k teacher and an English teacher in a private institute. I understand that learning a new language can be a challenge and that every individual has their own way of acquiring new knowledge and I will help you and provide the most suitable strategies to your learning journey.

My main focus is to have the student feel comfortable and safe, because if that is not well established, there will be a certain barrier that will not allow effective comprehension. I want to have the student understand that I am here to guide and not to judge, learning the basics of the Spanish language in an interacting and fun way, preparing them for real case scenarios.
