About Caleb
The smell of fresh coffee often greets me before we start discussing complex grammatical structures. Having spent 13 years teaching in Denver, I have refined a system that helps adults actually use the language rather than just reciting textbook drills. My MA in Spanish from UMass Amherst provides the academic foundation for this work, though my heart lies with helping those who are married into Latino families or seeking deeper cultural integration.
Conversational fluency is the core of what I do, though I also handle business Spanish, pronunciation, and writing skills with ease. I focus on idioms and expressions so you sound like a local instead of a student. Many of my clients come to me for travel preparation or to bridge the gap between basic vocabulary and real-life connections. You will find that I keep things straightforward and focused on what works for your life outside our meetings.
