About Mae
I am a Spanish educator with 12 years of teaching experience and a PhD in Spanish Language Education. Throughout my career, I have guided learners toward stronger communication skills while helping them build confidence in all areas of language use.
My teaching approach emphasizes practical application, encouragement, and personalized support. I enjoy helping students transform language knowledge into real communication ability. Every lesson is tailored to support individual objectives and learning styles.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring Hispanic culture, studying language variation, and reading Spanish literature. These interests bring authenticity and depth to my lessons. I look forward to helping students achieve fluency and enjoy the process of learning Spanish.

My Spanish lessons are designed to help learners communicate confidently while building a strong foundation in the language. We focus on grammar, vocabulary development, pronunciation, listening comprehension, reading skills, sentence building, and conversational practice. Lessons follow a structured approach that promotes steady improvement and lasting confidence.
I use conversation activities, roleplays, listening exercises, reading materials, vocabulary reinforcement tasks, and practical communication challenges to support language growth. Students receive personalized feedback that helps them improve accuracy while becoming more comfortable speaking Spanish in everyday situations.
Every lesson encourages active learning and meaningful communication. I create a positive environment where learners can practice freely, develop confidence, and build language skills through regular use. My goal is to help students communicate naturally and effectively in Spanish.
