I’ve loved teaching French and Spanish (to B2 in the UK) and English (to C2, in France, South America and the Middle East).
Growing in confidence with a new language can be such a liberating experience - and over the last 10 years, I have developed a broad mix of learning approaches and teaching strategies that can be tailored to each student’s learning needs.

I completed my PGCE teaching certificate in 2014 at UCL’s Institute of Education, after completing a degree in French and Spanish at the University of Manchester and then living and working in France, Colombia and Argentina for 4 years.
I have experience teaching languages (French, Spanish, English) to adolescents and adults, privately and as a school & university teacher, from A1 (beginner level) to B2 (A Level).
Lessons are 1 hour in length.
Learning approach will be tailored to interests and needs of student (e.g. professional use, cultural interests, linguistic priorities). Approaches will include:
- use of authentic materials (media, film, literature etc )
- targeted support on thematic vocab and grammar
- developing conversational (oral) skills
- interactive games and multimedia resources
