About Freya

I have many years of experience teaching and working with Spanish language students across different levels and learning goals. My teaching emphasises patience, adaptability, and encouragement, creating a supportive environment where learners can grow in confidence, accuracy, and communication skills. I focus on helping students develop their own voice in Spanish, combining strong language foundations with practical expression and fluent usage. Watching students progress from basic understanding to confident communication is deeply rewarding.

Outside of teaching, I engage with the Spanish language in professional and real-world contexts, which deepens my understanding of communication, clarity, and cultural expression. These experiences bring practical insight into my lessons, helping students communicate with confidence, precision, and individuality in everyday, academic, and professional situations.

About the lesson

My Spanish lessons combine strong language foundations, practical communication skills, and fluent expression. I guide students through grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing structure, pronunciation, and conversational practice, helping them build confidence in real-life communication. Every session is tailored to individual goals, learning pace, and proficiency level.

Beginners focus on basic grammar, sentence formation, essential vocabulary, and simple speaking practice to build a strong foundation. Intermediate learners refine grammar usage, improve writing clarity, expand vocabulary, and strengthen speaking fluency and listening comprehension. Advanced students work on complex grammar structures, advanced writing styles, critical reading, fluent speaking, and professional communication. Listening practice and real-world language use are naturally integrated to enhance accuracy and fluency.

I encourage students to actively use Spanish in meaningful contexts, turning learning into a confident and engaging experience. Each lesson is designed to build clarity, confidence, and long-term mastery of the Spanish language.
