About Tessa

I have 8 years of experience teaching Spanish and helping learners build strong communication skills and confidence. I hold a Master’s Degree in Spanish Language and Literature, which provided me with deep knowledge of grammar, pronunciation, and cultural understanding. Over the years, I have worked with students from different backgrounds and supported their progress through structured lessons.

My teaching approach is simple, patient, and focused on clarity. I believe Spanish should be learned through practice and real communication. I break down complex grammar into smaller steps and use examples to make learning easier. I encourage students to speak regularly and build confidence gradually through guided practice.

I continue to improve my teaching methods and stay updated with modern language learning techniques. Teaching Spanish is meaningful to me because I see learners grow in confidence and communication ability. My goal is to support students in building strong language skills, confidence, and comfort so they can communicate effectively and continue learning with long-term success and interest.

About the lesson

Spanish becomes easier when learners use it actively instead of only memorizing rules. In my lessons, I focus on speaking, listening, verb usage, and sentence construction. I explain each concept in simple English so students can understand clearly and apply it step by step. I include activities such as conversation practice, listening exercises, and roleplay to make learning interactive and practical. This helps learners connect Spanish with real-life communication. I create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable speaking and improving without hesitation.

Lessons are structured based on the student’s level and goals. Beginners focus on basic vocabulary, pronunciation, and simple sentence patterns. Intermediate learners develop grammar accuracy, conversation flow, and listening ability. Advanced students focus on fluency, expression, and real-life communication. I provide guided practice, corrections, and feedback to support steady improvement. This structured method helps learners improve consistently and build strong confidence.

As students continue learning, they become more confident in speaking and understanding Spanish. They begin to communicate naturally in everyday situations. Many learners enjoy using the language as they see progress. My goal is to help students build strong language skills and confidence so they can use Spanish comfortably and effectively in different situations with clarity and ease.
