About Ivy

I am a Spanish tutor with 7 years of experience and a Master’s Degree in Spanish Linguistics. During my teaching career, I have helped learners achieve personal, academic, travel, and professional language goals. Teaching Spanish allows me to combine my passion for communication with my dedication to education.

My teaching style focuses on interaction, encouragement, and practical learning. I believe students learn most effectively when they actively engage with the language in meaningful situations. Lessons are personalized to support confidence and long-term progress.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy studying Hispanic cultures, reading Spanish literature, and exploring language learning research. These interests help me bring authentic perspectives into lessons. I look forward to helping students communicate comfortably and confidently in Spanish.

About the lesson

My Spanish lessons are designed to help students communicate naturally while building strong language foundations. We focus on grammar accuracy, verb conjugation, pronunciation, vocabulary development, listening comprehension, and conversational practice through interactive and engaging activities. Lessons are structured to encourage steady improvement and growing confidence.

Students take part in discussions, storytelling exercises, cultural exploration, reading activities, and practical roleplays that reinforce real-world communication. I use clear explanations and meaningful examples to help learners understand and apply new concepts effectively. Every session promotes active participation and language use.

I enjoy helping students gain confidence in speaking Spanish while developing a deeper understanding of the cultures connected to the language. Through regular practice and constructive feedback, learners strengthen both fluency and accuracy. My goal is to make Spanish learning enjoyable, practical, and rewarding.
