About Nina
My interest in Spanish began through cultural exploration and a fascination with how language connects people. I earned a B.A. in Hispanic Studies and later an M.A. in Applied Linguistics, allowing me to combine cultural knowledge with effective teaching strategies. Over 7 years of teaching, I have supported learners at different stages of their language journey. I focus on creating a relaxed and encouraging learning environment. I adapt lessons to individual learning styles, ensuring students gain confidence through practical use rather than pressure. I value consistency, patience, and meaningful communication in every session. Beyond teaching, I stay connected to Spanish through literature, film, and linguistic research. Teaching Spanish is rewarding because I see students gain confidence, independence, and the ability to communicate across cultures, opening doors to new experiences and opportunities.
