About Leticia
Philology graduate & MA in Language Teaching | 7+ years Experience | Lessons for all levels | Language & culture
I am an English graduate with a Master’s degree in Language Teaching and over 7 years of experience teaching both English and Spanish to students of different ages and levels, including intensive courses for learners in the UK.
My academic background combines linguistics, translation, language teaching methodology, philosophy of language, and cultural studies. This allows me to approach language not only as a system of grammar and structure, but also as something deeply connected to culture, history, and human expression.
In my teaching, I combine linguistic rigor with a creative and culturally rich approach. I have developed my practice in both academic institutions and my own teaching projects, where I have focused on active participation, critical thinking, and student motivation.
I believe that language learning cannot be separated from its sociocultural context. For this reason, I integrate culture, literature, and authentic materials into my lessons, always adapting them to the student’s level, interests, and goals.
As a native Spanish speaker and linguist, my aim is to share language in a meaningful way, helping students not only improve their skills, but also understand and experience the language more deeply and confidently.

I offer personalised Spanish lessons designed to help you improve your fluency, confidence, and accuracy in a supportive and structured environment.
In our first session, we will define your goals and create a tailored learning plan adapted to your needs and interests, whether you are preparing for exams, need academic support, or simply want to improve your communication skills at your own pace.
My teaching combines solid grammatical foundations with real communication practice. We work through conversation, authentic materials, literature, music, and audiovisual resources to make the language meaningful and engaging.
I place great importance on creating a calm and safe environment where mistakes are seen as a natural part of learning. My goal is for you to feel confident speaking and to enjoy the learning process.
I have over 7 years of experience teaching both English and Spanish to students of different levels and backgrounds, including academic and intensive courses.
I believe effective learning happens when structure and creativity work together: when language is understood clearly, but also experienced as something alive and meaningful.
All classes are online, using reliable tools and interactive materials.
