Methodology
My teaching method is all about learning the language for a purpose. You get to define what that is for you, and I will guide you through translation, speaking, listening, and reading routines based on materials from native Spanish-speakers. For me, that purpose eventually became learning about Latin American history; for you, it could be learning how to strike up a conversation with that cutie in your Zoom class.
Background
I am a University of Utah Senior studying Political Science and Spanish. Aside from ten years of formal instruction, I spent two years as a Spanish-speaking LDS missionary in Louisiana, where I translated legal documents, interpreted public speeches, and taught English classes. I am a big Utah Jazz fan, but if you support the Rockets, I'll still take you.
