About Ana Claudia
Hello! My name is Ana. I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I've been a private tutor for secondary and university students for 18 years now. In meeting people from all around the world, sharing my culture with them and learning about theirs, I realized it was something I enjoyed — and so, I started teaching Spanish. I got my ELE certification as a Spanish Teacher from International House Buenos Aires in 2014. Since then, I've been teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I'm very passionate about my own language, country and culture, and I'd love to share these things with you. I also studied teaching in the University of Buenos Aires. I am knowledgeable on linguistics and sociolinguists, allowing me to better understand the process of learning and acquiring a new language. Additionally, from my personal experience as a foreign language student, I understand the challenges of learning a new language as an adult. I’m a patient and enthusiastic teacher, and I always encourage my students to go at their own pace. What matters most is that you don’t quit and keep trying. Focus on your goals. We will get there together! My lessons are tailored for each student's needs. We can focus on communicative skills, like conversational Spanish, or if you need to learn and use Spanish for your work or studies, we'll focus more on grammar and the language structure. Each individual has their own way and preferences for learning. I can adapt to your needs.
