About Evelyn
Teaching a language being a native speaker is a plus and if you also know and share the culture and customs of Latin American countries, it is still not only fun, but also enriching for any language student. However, academic training and experience are also very important. In my particular case, I have a degree in Communication with postgraduate studies and vast experience as a university professor in my country and in Australia as a Spanish teacher for three years, both in Spanish and ethnic schools in Adelaide as well as in a private tuition level.

As a native speaker with more than ten years of experience as a University teacher and teaching Spanish in Adelaide since 2019, I can say that I am proud to be an excellent teacher. My classes are interactive and give the students the necessary tools for understanding and speaking functional conversations in a short time, usually between 4-5 months. My classes are fun with lots of audiovisual material to familiarize students not only with different Spanish accents but also with different aspects of the Spanish-speaking world. Come to my classes and enjoy not only learning to communicate in Spanish but also knowing different aspects of Latin American and Spanish cultures. Since many of my students come to me as referrals from other students, read what they say about my classes. 3/5/23 I had the pleasure of studying with Evelyn for over two years. She was a fantastic teacher that was always very prepared and enthusiastic in class. She had great classes that were tailored to exactly how I wanted to learn.
