About Lucy
Hello! My name is Lucy, and I am currently a Spanish and Portuguese student at the University of Nottingham. I vividly remember the process and challenges of learning Spanish from scratch, and the importance of tailoring techniques in order to be engaged and enjoy the subject. I enjoy exploring the cultural aspects within the language, and found that I was able to heighten my passion and comprehension skills through Hispanic music and television.

My expertise lies in navigating the grammatical and motivational challenges of learning Spanish at GCSE and A-Level. As a student who has studied this language for 9 years, I aim to help you build a strong foundation in Spanish, followed by more advanced concepts to "WOW" your examiner. Within my lessons, I focus on integrating the engaging aspects of Hispanic culture in order to provide a digestible approach to language learning. Following a pace and learning style suited to you, I can support your confidence through listening, reading, and conversational tasks, in preparation for your GCSE and A-Level exams. I have experience with Edexcel and AQA syllabuses through tutoring and supporting my peers.
