About Jean Piero

I have been teaching Spanish for four years to several foreign students from France, Switzerland, Spain, Germany and the United States.
My ultimate objective is to help my students achieve their goals on schedule and be satisfied with their progress and their real-world performances.

My name is Jean Piero. I am a Venezuelan Spanish teacher passionate about language teaching.
I have a Bachelor of Translation and Interpretation in English and French. I received my higher education in the Faculty of Humanities and Education of the Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas.
I give classes to foreign students (beginners – intermediate-advanced) who have different expectations and goals towards learning Spanish.
As classes are given through Skype, both methodology and study material are adapted to this virtual platform: multimedia (audio + video), JPGs, PDFs, etc.
We will be looking at improving your oral expression, comprehension, pronuntiation, grammar and vocabulary. We might as well focus on a specific aspect of the language: culture, professional training, academic assignments, conversation, accent reduction, leveling out, etc.

Your level will be assessed throughout the free first 30-minute class and we will come up with the study strategy that best suits your needs and goals.
A diverse range of educational ressources will be used in class, such as Spanish language manuals, text books, exercises, Internet videos, news articles, songs, memorabilia, realia, etc. These will be sent to you before every class.
We will be working on a Google Doc, wich is a real-time updated interactive sheet that can be edited simultaneously by the teacher and the student; therefore, instant correction and dynamic performance are carried out in the process of teaching and learning. Also, you will have a complete record of all your classes that can be reviewed whenever you need it.

At the end of every class, you will get some extra exercises and an appraisal with the class overview and feedback.
