I am a private school Spanish teacher from the United States who has taught Spanish for 20 years. I have a major in Spanish from Asbury University in the United States and a Masters in Medieval Hispanic Studies from Exeter University from England.

My teaching method is based on using the spoken target language, Spanish, as much as possible with the student(s) so that he/she/they feel comfortable using it in a variety of real life circumstances. I provide opportunities for the students to practice the major skills components: vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Also, I go over homework with the student(s) if they wish me to do so. My goal is for my students to feel that they are improving after every session and they feel more comfortable using the Spanish language.

Details
If there is a need for me to travel to the location/home for the Spanish lesson, I will be more than happy to make myself accessible. However, there will need to be a $10.00 extra charge for travel costs.
Student must give a 24 hour notice prior to the lesson if he/she can not have the session on the planned date. There will be a surcharge of $10.00 if the student does not communicate of his/her absence within the 24 hour period of time prior to the date of the session.
