About Gretchen
I have orchestrated authentic Spanish language learning experiences from "passing through customs" with freshmen and sophomores to "hanging laundry" ( by the clothing item called) with 1st graders. Spanish offers opportunities for fun in learning. My students usually find something to heighten their enthusiasm for acquiring more language.

I like to call upon multiple intelligences in my teaching approach. This is to say we move, draw, arrange, listen, speak, converse, cooperate with others to achieve a language goal and write. We play learning games and participate in friendly competitions. I present choices and allow my students to choose or suggest learning activities and /or projects.
