I have known Jimmy for seven years, as we have been fellow students at the Vanderbilt University’s PhD program in Spanish. During this time, I have witnessed his passion for teaching, and the positive rapport he consistently builds with his students. Jimmy believes in the affective filter’s impact in foreign language classrooms, and makes sure he builds a personal connection with each one of his students which, in turns, results in more effective, long lasting learning. I do not hesitate to recommend Jimmy as a great instructor, teacher, or tutor of Spanish.

I’ve known Jimmy for a few years, such a great guy. Jimmy tutored my daughter last summer in Spanish, she’s a Junior at Kennesaw State University. Last semester she took her first college Spanish class and scored an A, this semester she’s taking a Spanish class for medical students. We are so grateful for Jimmy's time and patience, he’s an excellent teacher who makes learning Spanish fun and exciting. Jimmy tutored her in our home and trust was not an issue, it felt like he was a part of the family. Superprof members would really disadvantage themselves if they do not choose Jimmy. His style of teaching makes you feel comfortable and excited to learn, several times I had to stop the lessons because they were going over the time we scheduled and my daughter would say “just 10 more minutes mom” that’s the kind of teacher Jimmy is: a great one!

I don't have anything but good words about Jimmy. I strongly recommend Jimmy as a teacher. I had a great experience watching how much students improved after taking classes with him.
