About Yemaya

I am an educator in high school with a passion for learning new skills and learning about topics I am interested in. I crave knowledge and enjoy spreading my knowledge to others. My language, writing, history, reading, and math classes are my favorite subjects in school. I enjoy explaining concepts to peers and providing clarity when someone is confused about a certain topic. I love the look on someone's face when they finally have an "ah-ha" moment and the ideas click.

About the lesson

Learning Spanish requires practicing how to think, read, write, and speak in Spanish. Anyone across different age groups and experience levels is capable of practicing those skills.
Utilizing resources and methods like memorization games, writing and reading Spanish words, and practicing pronunciation after learning new material and vocabulary are great learning strategies.
I understand what it is like to learn a new language because I have been practicing, studying, and mastering these skills. The best way to learn is to immerse yourself in the subject.
