About Claudia
Hi! It's Claudia, a Film Production student.
I have been tutoring students (from 6 to 15 years old) for 5 years now. I am passionate about languages, especially my two native languages, which are Catalan and Spanish.
My teaching philosophy is based on the student's priorities, in order to seize the time! It is important to settle a goal before starting a tutoring, so that we can see progress and results.
The first thing I do with my students is get to know each other, to see which are their strengths and weaknesses, and with what they struggle the most.
The one thing all my students had the most trouble with, is trying to keep up with the lessons without having a strong base in the language. I always tell them the same thing, "you can never build a house by the roof; we need to build a strong floor". By doing this, I make sure that the student will be able to comprehend when the complexity of the language rises.
