About Herbert
I hold a degree in Spanish from an Ivy League college, and completed a second major which focused on current Latin American history. While in college, I worked for a large NGO focused on Latin America. I have worked in the professional setting with people from Mexico, Central America, South America & the Caribbean. These experiences give me a broad understanding of the Spanish language in its cultural setting. It is this excitement about the language that I would bring to our lessons. Thank you and I look forward to it.

We will study current events, culture, history, and sports, to look at events, individuals, and happenings throughout Spain and Latin America. By looking at things that are happening now, or that have affected people's lives in the past, we will bring the language to life and see it as an expression of people's reflections, hopes, lives and dreams.
