About Rushika

Hello! I’m a passionate and dedicated Spanish tutor with a strong academic background and real-world experience.

I graduated from University College London with a 2:1 degree in Modern Languages (French & Spanish) and achieved 100% in my GCSE and A-level Spanish oral exams.

Having lived for six months in Valencia and travelled extensively across South America, I bring authentic language experience and cultural insights to every lesson.

I am currently on sabbatical after spending 9 years working in the financial industry. During this time, I’ve given many talks across London and am now excited to share and teach what I’ve learned, combining my professional skills with my love for language.

I pride myself on being reliable and professional, while creating fun and engaging lessons that motivate students. I always strive to make sure I’m a good fit for each student, tailoring my approach to their needs and learning style.

About the lesson

My Approach to Tutoring
I believe learning Spanish should be fun, interactive, and practical. My lessons focus on conversation practice to build confidence and fluency, especially for GCSE oral exams. I use role-play, vocabulary games, real-life dialogues, and personalised feedback to suit each student.

Lesson Length
Lessons usually last 45 to 60 minutes—long enough to practise, learn, and stay focused.

Qualifications & Experience
I graduated from UCL (2:1 Modern Languages: French & Spanish) and scored 100% in my A-level Spanish oral exam. I lived 6 months in Valencia and travelled South America, gaining real immersion. I’ve helped many students prepare for KS3 and GCSE oral exams.
