About Michael
Hey there! I'm Michael, and despite having no family from any Spanish-speaking countries, I can now say that I am fluent after many years of learning and practicing and I'd love to help you achieve the same results.
Formal Experience:
- Took Spanish classes all 4 years of high school
- Majored in Spanish (& International Business) at Rollins College
- Studied abroad in Spain on 3 different occasions, totaling 8 months
- Tutored Spanish at Rollins College during my last two years
I believe I can be very helpful in your Spanish-learning journey because of my love for the language & learning in general, as well as my previous tutoring experience.
In fact, I would say I'd be even MORE helpful than a native Spanish speaker because I went through the same process as you: starting from zero knowledge of Spanish & having to learn it all.
I consider myself very patient, friendly, & responsible, which I believe are all essential qualities of a good tutor.
