About Alex

I am a graduate of UNM with a BA in Spanish and a minor in Chemistry. I grew up in New Mexico surrounded by the Spanish language. I lived in Nicaragua for a short amount of time. I have extensive experience tutoring privately and I also have 2 years of teaching experience in Spanish from levels 1-3 at the college level. I have presented research work at conferences such as Querencias, hosted by UNM and activism panels as well. I seek to provide an inclusive and engaging experience to my students that makes them want to continue learning.

About the lesson

I provide an immersive and interactive teaching experience that gets you involved so you learn to care about and personally connect with the material. The goal is for you to take charge of and enjoy your efforts in learning to communicate in Spanish.

I’m a high school student, and Alexander has helped me with proof reading Spanish papers, learning about my heritage, Spanish assignments and staying current with the language and my vocabulary. He is very educated, kind and in my opinion the best Spanish tutor you could hire.
