About Meag
With over 20 years of Spanish speaking experience, I have a passion for helping others learn how to speak, read, and understand the Spanish language and culture! Throughout my student career, I became well acquainted with understanding the dialect and vocabulary of the Spanish language throughout Central and Latin America. I have experience speaking inside and outside the classroom, studying Spanish from elementary school through college, as well as working as a volunteer translator at my local hospital for a few years! I then decided to expand my knowledge to European Spanish, where I lived in Spain and extended my skills! I think the language is beautiful and something that everyone can learn, if taught the correct way! If you are seeking to begin learning Spanish, I can help you navigate through the vocabulary and grammar so that you feel comfortable and confident when speaking!

I believe that everyone has a different learning style, and am devoted to determining this unique style for each student that caters to their individual method of learning that works best. Whether a visual, hands-on, or auditory learner, my lessons will ensure that each student feels comfortable and confident in their learning journey. Through my experience, I also know that immersion is the best way to fully understand a language, so each student will be given exercises that immerse them in the language, provoke conversation, and encourage deep thinking that will have you speaking comfortably in no time! My lessons are catered mostly to beginner speakers, or those looking to expand their understanding to European Spanish.
