About Ewan
With over 6 years of experience teaching Spanish, I have helped learners build confidence and communicate naturally in real-life situations. I hold a BA in Spanish with a Concentration in Creative Writing and Translation, which allows me to explain the language with both accuracy and creativity. I specialize in helping expatriates and digital nomads adapt smoothly to life in Spanish-speaking countries. My lessons go beyond grammar because daily life requires practical communication and cultural understanding. I guide students through everyday conversations, local customs, social etiquette, and community integration with confidence. I also share useful language for handling bureaucracy, appointments, banking, housing, transportation, and other essential tasks. Every lesson is tailored to your personal goals, lifestyle, and learning pace. I believe learning Spanish should prepare you for real experiences, not just classroom exercises. My teaching style is flexible, supportive, and focused on the situations you are most likely to face. I encourage steady progress through interactive conversations and practical activities that reflect everyday life. You will develop language skills that help you connect with people, solve problems, and feel comfortable in your new environment. I am committed to making your transition into a Spanish-speaking community smoother and more rewarding. Together, we will build the confidence and language skills you need to truly thrive in your new Spanish-speaking home.

Learning Spanish should feel practical, engaging, and useful from the very first lesson. I create personalized lessons based on your goals, whether you are learning for school, university, travel, work, or personal growth. Every class combines speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary in a balanced way. I focus on building confidence through real conversations instead of memorizing long word lists. For healthcare professionals and medical students, I provide training in medical Spanish, patient communication, clinical conversations, healthcare scenarios, anatomy terms, pharmacy vocabulary, nursing language, emergency situations, and professional medical terminology. We use specialized vocabulary drills and realistic role-playing to prepare for hospitals, clinics, and patient interactions. You will practice explaining symptoms, taking medical histories, discussing treatments, and communicating with empathy and accuracy. Hobbyists and travelers receive practical lessons that make everyday conversations feel natural and enjoyable. I encourage clear pronunciation and help you express yourself with confidence in real situations. Every lesson is interactive, supportive, and adapted to your learning pace. Regular feedback and targeted practice help you improve steadily. We will refine your Spanish for both everyday conversations and critical medical situations. My goal is to help you communicate naturally, accurately, and confidently in any environment.
