About Katie
Through my experience as a Volunteer English teacher in Nepal and becoming fluent in Spanish as a second language, I have acquired a very unique view as a teacher. Recent college graduate with a BA in Spanish as a Modern Language and Environmental Studies from Northern Arizona University. Through my 4 years of studying the Spanish language and 1.5 living in South America I have gained a great cultural understanding of the language as well as extensive grammatical knowledge. With my degree I aspire to combine my passions for working with children and Spanish to be a Middle School Spanish teacher. My tutoring style and lessons are engaging and creative, catering to each students specific needs.
