Sometimes I worry that my explanations sound too much like a music lecture. We start by identifying exactly what you need for your upcoming trip or exam.
My focus is on making you feel comfortable speaking naturally without overthinking the rules. We use idioms and expressions to make your speech sound authentic.
I integrate accent training into every single practice session. It helps to hear the language as it is spoken on the street. I truly love these quiet moments of discovery.

Growing up in Peru shaped my ear for rhythm and speech patterns. I hold a BA in Latin American Music Studies from UCLA and have 17 years of experience in the field. This foundation helps me break down complex Spanish grammar and everyday phrases for beginners.
My approach is friendly and patient for adults and travelers alike. I enjoy helping students navigate the nuances of verb conjugation and pronunciation. Cultural context remains a central pillar of my teaching style. Whether preparing for DELE or just wanting to talk, I am here.
