I was born and grew up in Bogota, Colombia; was educated at a private school under Guillermo Enciso, a member of the Academia Espanola de la Lengua (Spanish Linguistic Academy), his extensive knowledge and love for the language inspired in me a deep love for Linguistics that has been with me for all my years.
