About Alexis
Hi! My name is Alexis, and I’m a native English speaker from the United States. I’m passionate about helping people become more comfortable and confident speaking English in real-life situations.
I have completed a language teaching certification course focused on effective teaching methods, lesson planning, communication, and supporting language learners. I especially enjoy conversational learning because I believe one of the best ways to improve your English is to actually use it in a comfortable and encouraging environment.
I’m patient, friendly, and understanding, and I know learning a new language can sometimes feel intimidating. My goal is to create a space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and practicing without judgment.
Whether you want to improve your English for everyday conversations, travel, work, meeting new people, or simply becoming more confident when speaking, I’d love to help you reach your goals!

My English speaking lessons are designed to help you feel more comfortable, confident, and natural when speaking English in everyday life. I create a relaxed and supportive environment where you can practice without feeling embarrassed or afraid of making mistakes.
Lessons are personalized around your goals and current English level. We can practice everyday conversations, pronunciation, vocabulary, common expressions, workplace English, travel situations, or simply have natural conversations that help you become more comfortable speaking.
During a typical lesson, we’ll choose a conversation topic or real-life situation and practice speaking naturally. I’ll help with pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure along the way, while giving you plenty of time to actually speak rather than turning the lesson into a lecture.
My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, and conversational. I believe making mistakes is an important part of learning a language, so my goal is to help you practice without pressure while gently correcting mistakes and explaining how to sound more natural.
These lessons are ideal for beginner to intermediate English learners, adults who want more speaking practice, travelers, and anyone who understands some English but wants to feel more confident actually using it in conversation.
