About Selene
With over 4 years of experience teaching French, I bring language to life through immersive and creative lessons. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in French with a Concentration in European Cinema, where I explored both the artistry and emotion of French culture. My teaching approach is rooted in conversation and real-life experiences. I specialize in lessons that simulate culinary and gastronomy scenarios — from ordering in a café to preparing classic French dishes. Students learn vocabulary for ingredients, cooking techniques, and restaurant etiquette while speaking naturally and confidently. I believe that language learning is most effective when it engages all the senses. My classes often feature discussions about French regional cuisine, wine pairing, and dining traditions. I guide learners to understand the culture behind every word and flavor. Lessons are interactive, practical, and filled with cultural discovery. I encourage curiosity and creativity in every session. Together, we’ll explore how language and cuisine intertwine. Join me for a delicious journey into the heart of French culture and communication.

With a passion for language and the arts, I create French lessons that are both structured and spontaneous. Each session feels alive with conversation, creativity, and discovery. My approach blends grammar precision with expressive communication. I specialize in helping students who study French for music, theatre, and artistic expression. Lessons often include analyzing song lyrics, exploring play scripts, and practicing character dialogue. Pronunciation is shaped through rhythm, tone, and emotion. I encourage learners to use their voices as instruments of expression. Whether preparing for a performance or an exam, students develop clarity and confidence. I work closely with Conversationalists and Exam Takers to ensure rapid progress. Every class includes a balance of technique and imagination. I use creative tools and interactive exercises to make learning memorable. My goal is to help learners communicate with authenticity and artistic flair. Each session invites you to speak, feel, and perform French with confidence.
