About Zinnia
I’m a Spanish tutor with over 7 years of experience and a Master of Education in Language Teaching, specialising in Spanish. I especially enjoy working with older adults and retirees who want to learn Spanish for fun, travel, or simply to keep their minds active. My lessons are designed to be calm, supportive, and encouraging there’s never any rush. I use memory friendly techniques that focus on gentle repetition, real-life situations, and cultural context. We often explore practical dialogues, songs, everyday vocabulary, and traditions from Spanish speaking countries. This makes learning enjoyable, meaningful, and easy to remember. I believe that everyone can learn a new language at any stage of life, and my goal is to make the journey comfortable and rewarding. Lessons are tailored to each learner’s pace and interests, whether it’s planning a trip abroad or just enjoying Spanish conversation. I create a warm, welcoming space where questions are always encouraged and every small step is celebrated.
