About Isis
I am a proud San Francisco native who grew up in a bilingual household, speaking both English and Spanish. From a very young age, I took on the responsibility of translating for my parents whenever they needed assistance. This experience shaped my character and instilled in me a deep sense of compassion, responsibility, and dedication to helping others. It also inspired me to continue strengthening my Spanish so that I can better serve and support diverse communities. I am currently a student at the University of Maryland Global Campus, where I am working diligently toward achieving my dream of becoming a nurse. Nursing represents more than just a career to me—it is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives by providing care, comfort, and support during their most vulnerable moments.
