Vanda has been one of the best French instructors I have had the pleasure of taking lessons with. Speaking English as my primary language, I found it difficult to understand the structure and syntax of French. Even so, where I most struggled was in pronouncing words. It was very difficult for me to speak clear enough so that nuanced distinctions could be heard in the words and phrases I attempted to pronounce. One she assessed where I struggled the most, Vanda patiently and diligently worked with me as to help me with my problems. I am proud to say that that today I can have almost casual conversations with native French speakers. Although I still struggle with my pronunciation, I know that I am understood because of the time Vanda dedicated to me.
