Meet Anna!

I am currently working as a Florist in Canada. Living abroad and meeting diverse people through my craft has deepened my appreciation for my identity as a 'native Korean' and my love for the language. Now, I want to channel that passion into becoming your dedicated Korean learning mate.

- Certified Event Florist
- Completed Professional Sexual Violence Counselor Training Course (Suwon Women's Hotline)
- Completed specialized training (1 year of service at a Community Care Center at GBC)

Things I Love:

Books: I’m a true bookworm. Whenever I travel, I always look for local bookstores and love staying at 'book-stay' accommodations.

The Power of Journaling: Keeping a diary is my oldest habit. I’m so serious about stationery that I even take "stationery trips" to Japan! ️

Flowers & Vases: Collecting vintage vases and filling them with fresh blooms is my latest small but certain happiness. If you’re curious, I’d love to show you my collection during our class!

My dream is to create a warm space where we don't just study a language, but truly connect by sharing our tastes and daily lives.

- An in-depth lecture & discussion-based class exploring the hidden layers of Korean society.
- I provide customized materials based on your interests.

2. Deep Dive Reading: The "Brick Book" Challenge (Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing)
- We go beyond just reading. We explore the social and cultural contexts hidden behind the text for a deeper understanding.
- Through specific prompts, we engage in deep discussion and practice writing your own thoughts and narratives to achieve logical fluency.

*Tutor’s Pick: Ready to start immediately! (Message me for a curated list by level/topic.)
*Student’s Pick: Requires at least 48 hours for preparation. (E-books or titles available on 'Millie’s Library' only.)

3. Ask Me Anything (Listening, Speaking)
- From Korean life tips and personal concerns to etiquette and social dynamics—ask me anything you’ve found difficult to ask others!
- Strictly non-judgmental. My classroom is an absolute safe space. As a trained counselor, I listen to every story with an open heart.

4. Sparkle Chat: Quick Conversation (Listening, Speaking)
- A light and fun short-time session to recharge your daily energy. Perfect for when you want to increase your speaking time with casual topics.

Without a clear motive, language learning can be a long and lonely road. I believe your skills improve the fastest when you struggle to express 'your own story' in Korean. I’m here to help you find those words.
