About Mike
Hey there, I'm Mike and am currently in my first year of an engineering and science double degree at Monash.I graduated in 2022 with an ATAR of 97.45 and with that, a deep passion for learning and teaching that has carried over into my university life.
I wasn't always the brightest kid in school, often finding myself not understanding a thing being taught in class, so I'm very familiar with the feelings of doubt and frustration that come with that experience. Given that, my aim as a tutor is not only to avoid such an occurrence entirely but to help you thrive in the classroom and in assessments

My teaching method prioritises understanding the nature of the content over pure rot learning. From personal experience, there is just far too much content to learn purely from rote, and the content that you do retain is lost within the week.
My style can be a bit informal because I personally find that it's way more enjoyable to not be strict and it's way better for you because I become someone that you genuinely want to listen to.
I can adapt my lessons to your desire, which includes lesson length. Typically, I do 1-2 hour lessons once a week, but can do more or less time per lesson or lessons in total based on your need (maybe a SAC is coming up and you need more time for example).
