About Janaya
Hello! My name is Janaya, and I am currently 26 years old. One thing you should know about me is that I love to write and help others!
I received my Special Education Teachers Assistant Certificate in 2016 and have worked in a few different school settings since then. In 2019 I decided to go back to school, and received my Early Childhood Educators Assistant Certificate; I have worked as a support worker in preschools, as well as a before and after school teacher.
Through the years I have tutored to various students in various levels of English studies!
I love to learn new things and hope to assist others and make learning easier and more exciting for them as well!

I love to help children feel more confident about themselves in their schoolwork! Each session will be based on what your child needs and meet them where they are at.
I believe that there will not be much will or want in learning basic concepts such as reading and writing for the child if it is not something they are interested in. My aim is to change their perspective by letting them choose what to write after given a few choices, as well as letting them give suggestions for reading topics
I can help children who are struggling in their reading and writing through creating passages to read and giving writing prompts based on topics they choose from choices given. I also find strategies that will work and be unique to each child.
