About Martha
Hello all!
My name is Martha and I am very much interested in finding a part-time tutoring service at your convenience.
I currently work full-time as a 1:1 Behavior Interventionist where I aide students in developing new coping mechanisms and techniques to better their behavior overall. I’ve completed two internships in the past: one working with the LAPD assisting the community youth recreation centers where I directed activities, provided homework assistance, and organized special events for the kids. The other internship I completed was with the Little Angels Daycare Center where I assisted with taking care of children aged from 1-6 years old; Ive always demonstrated empathy and kindness to display positive character traits to the children.
Overall I have more than 3+ years of experience working with children and youth as a tutor.
My current availability is Monday-Friday 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Saturdays and Sundays are usually open availability; it will vary.

With my experience in the school setting; I have a tremendous amount of experience creating lesson plans that fit each an every individuals needs based on what they would like to improve on.
I believe that each person learns in different ways and what I like to focus on is working with the client to figure out what ways they learn best so we can create a space that they are comfortable learning in.
